I'm steadily moving through Cardboard Astronaut. It is not a difficult read; yet it is forcing me to re-examine some longheld "truths" and conceptions I've had concerning the church and my various roles: congregant, husband, father, son, and brother.

I heartily recommend the book to people of all faiths or no faith at all. Armando's style of writing is both intruiging and engaging. I find myself bringing up his suppositions in conversation, bouncing them off my friends and family - which I appreciate as it is both conversation starter and challenges me to critically examine my own faith and ideas. I am fiercely enjoying the book.

My faith and person is strengthened by Armando's words.
